How Opero handles account, workspace, project, task, ticket, authentication, and support information.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Opero collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit the public site, create an account, sign in, join a workspace, manage projects, tasks, tickets, comments, attachments, or contact support.

Opero is built for team collaboration, so information you add to a workspace may be visible to workspace owners, admins, members, or invited users according to workspace settings and permissions.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as name, email address, password authentication status, Google sign-in identifiers when used, email verification state, profile settings, workspace membership, roles, invitations, and support requests.

We also process workspace content, including workspace names, projects, tasks, ticket details, comments, activity records, labels, settings, uploaded files or attachments if used, and metadata needed to operate the service.

Technical information may include IP address, device and browser details, session information, authentication tokens, log events, error reports, timestamps, referral URLs, and usage events needed for security, troubleshooting, performance, and product improvement.

How we use information

We use information to provide Opero, authenticate users, verify email ownership, enable Google sign-in, create and manage workspaces, send invitations and notifications, route tickets and support requests, show activity, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.

We may also use information to communicate about account activity, legal updates, service changes, billing or add-ons if introduced, and support requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

Opero uses browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain sessions, remember workspace preferences, protect accounts, and route authenticated requests. These technologies are not intended for third-party advertising on the Opero product.

You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking essential cookies or local storage may prevent sign-in, workspace switching, or other core features from working.

Authentication and account security

Passwords are processed using password hashing practices rather than stored as plain text. Email/password registrations may require OTP verification, and password reset or verification links may be sent by email.

Authentication tokens and session data are used to keep your account signed in and to authorize requests. You should keep your email account, Google account, devices, and Opero credentials secure.

Google sign-in and third-party authentication

If you use Google sign-in, Opero receives information needed to authenticate you, such as your Google account identifier, email address, email verification status, and basic profile information. Opero does not receive your Google password.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google policies and account controls. Removing Opero access from your Google account may affect future sign-in.

Data sharing and processors

We do not sell workspace content. We share information with service providers that help operate Opero, such as hosting, database, storage, email delivery, authentication, analytics if enabled, monitoring, and customer support providers.

We may share information when you enable integrations, when a workspace admin invites or manages members, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the business with appropriate safeguards.

Data retention

We retain account and workspace information while your account or workspace is active, as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and preserve backups.

Deleted content may take time to disappear from backups and logs. Some audit, security, invoice, or support records may be retained for a limited period even after account or workspace deletion.

User rights, access, correction, and deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete certain personal information. You can update some account and workspace information directly in Opero.

For requests that cannot be completed in the product, contact support@opero.ge. We may need to verify your identity and may coordinate with the relevant workspace owner or admin for workspace-controlled data.

International storage and processing

Opero and its providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When information is transferred internationally, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service provider, data type, and applicable law.

Children's privacy

Opero is intended for teams, businesses, agencies, startups, and professional workspaces. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Opero changes, as third-party services change, or as legal requirements evolve. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the product, by email, or by updating the public page.
